My son started very soon with Joanna,but Joanna and the girls are brilliant and it’s really visible that they do love kids! He adapt to them easy and quickly and talk every day about little cute Pomeranian dog. I am happy and proud as a mum because little one is always happy,calm and with a smile on his face when he is back to home. I am more than happy as a mum and same time feel so sorry why I didn’t met Joanna a little bit more early. Highly recommend Joanna as a best place for kids in Stevenage! x

My son has been going to Joanna since January 2023, we were so happy that in June we were able to increase his time there from 3 days to 4.
I was very anxious leaving my son and I would message daily - to reassure me I get daily pictures and updates. Initially when my son started he was having a hard time transition from being breast fed. Joanna tried several beakers at her home and finally my son to a liking to one - I remember the picture she sent to me saying we have found a beaker he likes. She goes the extra mile.
I am beyond happy with the service that Joanna provides. My son is full of smiles going to her and leaves happy. He is learning so much, every week is a new theme and activities. She also ensures that each child has a journal and it tells you of their day, what they have eaten and nap time.
She is always happy to support and encourage independence.
The best part is my son runs into her home with out saying bye to me - that’s how I know he loves going to her!
I would recommend Joanna to anyone who needs a childminder who goes the extra mile for the children she looks after.

My daughter started Joanna’s setting in September 2022 and I couldn’t believe how quickly she settled in. This was a first establishment away from home for Isabelle and I was extremely anxious how it is going to be. Every day during the settling in sessions I received updates on how Isabelle is doing and it helped me greatly knowing how happy she was there. Since then I receive daily updates on activities my daughter is involved in, including pictures. Every evening Isabelle is coming home with a new development or skill which is great achievement thanks to Joanna and her team. Joanna cooks delicious and very varied meals for children and Isabelle enjoys eating there.
Overall I can’t thank her enough for being such great childminder and I am feeling extremely lucky to find her.

Joanna and her team are absolutely amazing. They all have a real passion for working with children. They really do care about each child. Both of my children have loved going to Joanna and were really sad when they had to leave (we moved out of area). My children and I have absolute faith and trust in Joanna and her team. The childminding set up is great, there is a varied range of toys for all ages and they always have lots of fun activities for the children to do. In the summer, my children loved playing in the garden. Joanna has vast experience with children and extensive knowledge of the EYFS framework. She is always on hand to help and provide guidance if needed. Joanna is also very accommodating. I have a fussy eater and on the odd occasion he stayed for dinner, she would always check with him to see what he would like. It made his day that he could choose! Joanna’s family are also extremely polite and friendly. Everyone is aways smiling, which is why the children absolutely love staying here. I would highly recommend Joanna.

After moving to Stevenage I come across Joanna on here as well as several other childminders I liked the sound of in the Stevenage area. I went to visit three different childminders and I knew straight away from meeting Joanna, that she was the right person for my son. She was so welcoming and clicked with my son straight away.
My son has been with Joanna just under two weeks and he’s already come on leaps and bounds with his eating and social interaction. I get daily updates in a communication book and WhatsApp, where I get regular photos and videos of my little boy having so much fun.
Joanna has two assistants and they are so lovely and so helpful. My little boy regularly cries when I drop him off in the morning. I don’t feel anxious leaving him as I know I’ll get a picture of him smiling and having fun like 5 minutes later.
Joanna also offers a nutritious tasty menu, which is great for my little boy as he never use to eat very much and now he is :) I could not be happier
I cannot recommend Joanna enough, she is amazing.

I stumbled across Joanna when I was looking for someone to look after my 11 month old twins. From the very first moment we met her I was struck by her warm and caring nature. My boy girl twins have been with her for the last 18 months and I can’t recommend her and the team highly enough. The level of care, patience and understanding is outstanding. She knows both of my twins as individuals, understanding each of their needs, and tailoring their care in order to help them develop and grow. Going back to work is tough, but I have always felt assured that my children are in a safe and caring environment. She has helped them to learn so many new skills and nurtured them every step of the way. When I was first looking for a childminder I read a review on this site which said ‘if you can get a place with Joanna, grab on to it and don’t let go!’, they weren’t wrong and it will be a very sad day when my twins move onto the next stage! Thank you Joanna for everything you have done and continue to do for us!

Joanna was recommended to me by one of the other mums using her services and at that point I was moving house, coming to the new town, going back to work full time with 12 months old twins and a job in the City. Quite a lot on my plate, but first time I went to meet Joanna, just to talk about the possibly of her looking after our Boys, I knew she was the right person for the job.
Her house is completely converted to a little nursery, well equipped, child-friendly, she prepares fresh home made food every day, ..., exactly the environment I wanted my boys to stay in whilst mummy and daddy had to work. Joanna is fully qualified, very experienced and has two assistants who are also absolute stars. Boys had absolutely no issues with settling in which was a relief as I had to commute to London. In terms of boys education and development I had no doubt, Joanna was doing great job after a short while as my boys were able to count to nearly 30 not long after their second birthday, singing lots of nursery rhythms, etc....
On the top of being absolutely wonderful childminder, Joanna goes above and beyond with what she does for the kids, she organises amazing Christmas, Halloween and other parties for little ones, annual photographer visits and so much more.
Now, two and a half years later, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to Joanna and her team as Boys are starting full time pre-school from September and I had literally tears in my eyes just thinking about boys not going to Joanna's every day.
I just can't praise Joanna and her team enough for what they've done with my boys as they have turned into very smart, kind and confident individuals and as sad as it sounds I can't take much credit for it myself.

In my opinion, Joanna is an outstanding childminder and I would score her the best mark. It was daunting to return to work and leaving my daughter with a complete stranger. Now I can only say that Joanna is like a part of our family; she is very helpful and accommodating.
I am very comforted about leaving my daughter in Joanna’s care whilst I go to work. The children's health and safety are always at the forefront of her mind. My daughter has multiple food allergies and it takes a lot of effort and attention to ensure that she does not come into contact with any allergens and has a reaction. We have never had an issue with this. The care for the children there is outstanding.
Joanna has a perfect playroom, adequate for all of the children's needs with lots of different activities. Joanna does lots of different things with the children, such as arts/crafts, reading & singing. There is a wide range of toys available to meet the children's development. Joanna also takes kids to the animal farm or out for a walk.
Joanna has also two helpers there who are also really lovely and nice. They love kids, very kind and attentive and you can see that kids love them. My child has learnt so much there. She loves going to Joanna’s and enjoys interacting with the other children. I'm updated daily on the activities that my daughter has participated in and very often Joanna sends me these pictures via WatsApp. Sometimes when we come to collect my daughter, she does not want to leave. This tells me that my child is very happy there! I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Joanna to other parents :)

Joanna is a well trained childminder and she has been looking after my two girls for quite some time. My older one is now in reception but she is very happy to come to Joanna any time and stay and play. She gave all the love to my children and look after them well. They have learned through the time a lot of songs and did lot of activities.They went for small trips to farms to look at the animals or went strawberry picking. I am very happy mother that I have Joanna looking after my children. I trust her and I am relaxed knowing that they are in good caring hands. She always advice me when need it on how to handle some situation and she became my supernany. She is always there for my girls and they love her so much. She cook home made meals and keeping parents update on what they will do during the week. I could write so much good about this lady and it would be so long. I know that she is doing childminding because she love children. I am very happy parent that Joanna is and have been looking after my girls. I can only highly recommend this lady to everyone who is not sure or worry about that someone else will looking after your child because she will take a good care of them. Joanna also has a wonderful family. So one more time, I highly recommend Joanna and wish her many more happy chilminding years to come.

Joanna is an absolutely brilliant childminder and I cannot say enough good things about her.
I needed a childminder at very short notice and Joanna was excellent at working around what we needed and what she could offer us
My daughter loves going to see Joanna and gang in the mornings and is very reluctant to come home when I pick her up!
There is always lots going on and my daughter is kept very busy as she is always tired at the end of the day ... But very happy!
Joanna takes the children on outings and she sends me pictures of my little girl throughout the day which is really lovely. The food offered is reall nice and much enjoyed
Joanna's house is a very friendly, welcoming home and she makes us feel like part of the family
I would highly recommend Joanna to anyone who is looking to someone to take care of ther children
