We were so lucky to find Kyla for our 19month old son and we couldn't sing her praises highly enough. At 19months, this was the first time he was being cared for outside of our home (we had an au pair from 10months) and it felt like a big transition for us all. I think my husband and I were more nervous than our son was, but Kyla helped to share lots of photos and updates so we could see how happy he was each day. Within a week of being with Kyla he was waking eager to be dropped off! I believe this is due to the warm home-from-home feeling Kyla provides, along with all of the wonderful adventures and activities the children are able to explore with her. Placing our son with Kyla felt like a continuation of the care we would provide for him and receiving the updates of what they had been up to that day was a highlight my husband and I looked forward to each afternoon.

My son did more with Kyla in the short few months he was with her, than he ever did in the year he spent being looked after in the home with our au pair. His confidence and development has come on leaps and bounds and we hope to be able to find another minder as great as Kyla has been - a tall order in our view!
