Known by my peers for being enthusiastic about life's little pleasures, I find that caring for children and young adults comes naturally when paired with my hardworking attitude. Following a year within the Creative Industries, I am now looking to assist a family with their everyday needs and requirements until I head back to Camp Takodah for another summer of campfires by the lake! My Experience
My experience of 2 years as a full-time General Counsellor at Camp Takodah allowed me to develop first-hand the skills that are essential when caring for a group of children and young adults, whether that be an individual, or a class of 30. My role involved caring for a cabin of 12 young girls 24/7, teaching 2 classes a day (class size of 15-30), running 3 daily activities and an evening programme. It was essential to prioritize the girl’s learning and understanding of core values, whilst ensuring that all of the activities were fun, and engaging - this was particularly vital at a camp without any use of technology!

My Availability
I am currently fully available and flexible with regards to my working hours. I can do early mornings, and late nights, as well as weekends. I am currently looking for a temporary position for the month of May/June, but would be able to provide 24 hour care throughout this time.
