Twice been let down by Rowina and my child hasn't even started yet. This was just to meet her and the surroundings, we booked a date and on the day after texting a few times to reconfirm my attendance as she requested. I got no response for upto 5 days later with an excuse of why we couldn't meet that day. So we rearranged another date I text her again to reconfirm our attendance only to be ignored again and she still has not replied this has left me with no confidence in her or her services. I noticed all her good reviews were said 2 years ago when she cared for her business now she just ignores you or replies 5 days later. No way would someone like this care for my child. Sorry I must be honest, it's left me with no confidence in you or your service's.

Thanks for your review.
Unfortunately, my phone screen has broken (which contains not only your number but also my diary). As we have not even met, I would like to remind you that you are currently leaving a review regarding my ability to provide childcare which is something you know nothing about.
You text me on the day of your initial appointment, which I replied to within 5 minutes and explained to you that unfortunately my son had been sent home poorly from school so I was unable to meet you and we rearranged.
I set reminders on my phone to remind me of my daily appointments and tasks, so your meeting would have flagged me at 7am and also 12pm today should my phone have been working. I do this as I am sure you can appreciate that working from 6.45am daily, meeting the needs of several children throughout the day, and providing a fulfilling curriculum and fun activities takes up a lot if not all of my attention during the days. Unfortunately, as my phone isn't working, this means there was no reminder and so today's appointment has been missed. Once my phone has been fixed I would have realised, messaged you, apologised and arranged something alternative to suit you.
My reviews are old as we generally have a low turnover of children as families don't leave us, we still provide care for the majority of the families who have reviewed! We keep the same ones until we transition and they start their school life. I also have a website, which I focus on more as I can upload photos, updates, and of course my glowing reviews.
Thank you for taking the time to write your review, but as you have not experienced my setting or my childcare, I don't think this is the right place to channel your opinions.

My son has been attending Lulus playhouse for nearly a year now. He settled in really well and just loves it with Rowina and Susan. He is able to take park in a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors and just never gets bored. The loving and warm environment and care that is provided is simply amazing. We are so lucky to have such amazing ladies take care of our son. I would highly recommend Lulu's playhouse.

My sons has been with Rowina and Susan for 3 months now and He absolutely loves it he comeS
Home every night and tells me about all the fun he has Had and what he has been up to and he is always kept busy and comes home happy and content! I highly recommend Rowina and Susan and my son can’t wait to go back when school starts.

My son is 4 and had (until now) only ever been cared for by family and close friends. I had reservations of leaving him with a complete stranger and worried about how he would settle in, but I really needn't have worried.
When we first went to meet Rowina at her setting, my son was very upset and didnt want to speak to anyone and didnt seem like he would ever calm down which was very upsetting for me to see! However, Rowina was wonderfully patient and friendly with him and we somehow got to the point where he didnt want to leave!
He now attends 3 mornings a week, and absolutley loves his time here. And I love coming home from work and listening to him telling me about all his adventures at Rowinas. Happy momma and happy boy :)

Rowina and her mum and wonderful! Our little girl has been going for almost 2 months and we can’t fault anything. She does so many activities with the children and shares pictures throughout the day. We’ve never had a single tear from our daughter and she loves it! We were so nervous about leaving her with a stranger but we had no need to worry. Rowina is brilliant and the progress our daughter has made is wonderful. We’ve always thought her to be quite clever and advanced, but Rowina has nurtured this and makes everything fun! We couldn’t do without her! Can not recommend enough ❤️❤️

Rowina and her mum have been a godsend to me and my little girl. Kind, supportive, excellent communication between the setting and home, varied and fun activities provided with lots of outdoor experiences. My daughter has come on so much in just a short space of time and has settled in so well. I couldn’t recommend Rowina and her setting enough!!

My daughter has been attending LuLus playhouse now for just over 3 weeks (she started at 11 months old) and she settled in instantly. Rowina is a loving individual who treats my child as if it’s her own. She does lots of activities with the children in and outdoors and she keeps me updated with pictures throughout the day which is something you wouldn’t get with most. I had issues leaving my only child with a complete stranger (like most first time mothers) but Rowina has proved that she can be trusted 100% and always has your child’s interest at heart which is reassuring. Definitely a rare find and I can truly say I completely made the right decision by choosing Rowina.
