If only words could do justice to the service that Hawthorn Learning Tree provide. I have twin girls who are quite demanding, very active with very different personalities so I was very nervous about leaving them. Sarah and her team provided a personalised focus on introduction to her childcare setting, taking time to understand the individual needs and personalities and adjust things accordingly. They settled incredibly quickly and absolutely love going to Hawthorn Learning Tree. They are only 20 months old now and when I tell them they are going to Sarah's, they run to the door to put their shoes on (and these are two usually clingy children!).
Sarah and her team provide an extensive range of activities that keep the children of all ages constantly engaged, learning and enjoying their time. Activities include messy play (yet they still come home clean!), water play, outside play, imagination games, singing and learning suitable topics for their age amongst an endless array of other activities I just am unable to provide for them at home.
My girls also have specific dietary requirements and Sarah goes above and beyond to feed them appropriately, trying different healthy foods that they love.
The setting is impeccably clean and there is a suitable focus on cleanliness and hygiene. It is very organised with daily communication and Sarah clearly runs a truly effective and love filled childcare setting.
I honestly could not ask for more from a childminder looking after my children. I feel that all their needs are met and more and there is nothing more important to a mother knowing that your children are truly happy, learning, healthy and safe at child care whilst parental choices are also respected.
