My Experience

I am currently working for a family providing care for 2 lovely primary school aged children. My role is primarily childcare (getting children ready for school, pick up/drop Off, help with homework and preparing dinner. I provide additional help during school holidays, planning exciting and educational activities for the children as well as caring for all basic needs.
I work closely with the parents to ensure a good routine is followed.
My previous nanny role for 2 years included similar duties with the addition of housekeeping duties. While the children were at school, I took on the role as housekeeper, peforming all housekeeping duties.

I have previously been trained to Level 3 City and Guilds as a chef and specialised as a pastry chef, receiving a Level 3 Diploma in Patisserie and Confectionery. I worked in high profile restaurants in London and set up my own cake and catering business catering for weddings and events. All of these experiences have given me strength, time management, ability to work under pressure and have taught me the meaning of hard work. I learnt how the hospitality industry works, how to set up and run various sections in the kitchen and, from my business, I learnt basic business skills such as accounting, bookkeeping and admin.

My Availability

Ideally a role between 25- 30 hours a week, flexible on how that is arranged depending on location.
