Excellent childminder in a warm, family environmen

Lisa has been looking after my son since he was 17 months old. He settled very easily at a time of change as we were expecting a new addition. Lisa supported us all I had no hesitation in dropping him off. He eats and sleeps well there which is important to us with Lisa supporting the routine we follow at home. She always makes sure we have feedback on how the day has been.

The environment is a family home with a wide variety of toys. In the summer they are often out in the garden most afternoons. My son has got to know Lisa's son, daughter and husband and gets excited when he sees them as they have welcomed him into the family too!

Lisa is flexible and if we need extra hours she tries to accommodate it.

Having a childminder who we can really rely on and trust with our son is fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other families.

Excellent care in a lovely family

Lisa has been looking after my year-old daughter since she was six months old. Lisa has two decades of experience and I could not be happier with her childcare. I feel completely comfortable leaving my baby with her. Apart from the quality of care the extra something that she has is that she is a 'real' person and hers is a lovely family. Her two children (11 and 13) are a credit to her and make my daughter's days at their house more enjoyable when they come home from school/in the holidays, so any child looked after my her will be part of a family. She is a great cook and has a really nice, comfortable house with lots of interesting toys with play with - not cheap plastic toys but interesting toys she has gone to the bother of choosing from bring and buys. Some of Lisa's charges are more clingy than others and she is very kind and patient with all the children, will always pick them up and give them attention, and has an understanding of their unique needs. As a travel journalist and editor, my working hours can be erratic and I particularly appreciate how flexible she is, taking my daughter for extra days and extra hours. I have also been touched by her and her daughter selecting clothes for my baby from school sales, her dropping things off at my house that I've forgotten, and her dropping my daughter off and picking her up to help me out. I don't think I could find a better childminder.
