Hi Parents ,
I am 26 years of age and live with my husband and My three dogs , Max , Mia and Milo.
I was was a nursery assistant and teacher for 4 years and a childminder for 5 . I am very passionate about working with children and helping them to find their own way in the world . I love the outdoors and being in nature . I’m very crafty and love letting the children explore the world through their own eyes. I trained and taught in a Rudolf Steiner school called Camphill.
I currently live at RAF Coningsby as my husband is in the RAF.
Ideally I’d like to work from my home as i don't drive and as i have a puppy and two dogs to care for also.
The dogs have their own room in the house that is separate from our living areas , so they wont be of issue to anyone or children in the house.
My Experience
I was a nursery assistant for 4 years and a childminder for 5 . I have worked in a Waldorf eduction setting . Letting the child lead the way through their eyes and their heart . I’ve done many lesson plans and lead Forest nature walks and numerous craft lessons . I’ve worked with children 10 months to 12 years old. I have work experience with children who have additional needs , autism , cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
My Qualifications
I am a qualified beautician , make up artist and photographer . I don’t have childcare qualifications as of yet but I have worked enough in the industry to have great capabilities, working in a Waldorf setting everything is learnt hands on and I spent 4 years looking after a family of 5 and a family of 2 , who’d both love to give me a reference, if you’d like one.
Waldorf teachings are very similar to Montessori teachings.
I have done paediatric first aid training and first aid awareness. As well as behavioral training , this is purely to understand the emotions of a child and how to guide them through each one on their own.
i also help to give them tools to be able to help themselves regulate their own emotions and to help people around them understand.
My Availability
My availability is different for each family . It depends on what your in need of hours wise and also what I’m able to cover .
I am studying to become an English teacher at present so have taken two days a week to complete this . if your needs as a family do not match , i can always be flexible and discuss it with you.
