I'm a bilingual (almost tri-lingual!) 28 year old with a wide range of diverse, fun child care experience packed into the last 8.
My first language is Welsh with fluent English, and I'm also learning Korean as a hobby.

I discovered a love for working with children after working on Norwegian Cruise line for a year and travelling the world as a massage therapist, I found myself picking up additional shifts in the 'camp' (childcare setting) onboard and absolutely adored it! Immediately after coming home, I went straight into college, quickly gaining my Level 3 qualification in Childcare Learning and Development and never looked back.

Since my time onboard, I have accumulated 3 years of experience working in a nursery as a Key worker, 1:1 staff working with children with additional needs (experience with autism, Global developmental delay, delayed speech and language, delayed development) and room supervisor. I have also spent 12months working in America, working with children between 8-17 in a summer camp setting and creating, scheduling and running my own 1 week long camp for children between 5-7 with a Hawaiian theme! Summer camp settings really gave me the opportunity to be energetic, spontaneous and really learn how to engage with children by hosting activities like camp fires, sing-alongs, fire building, climbing, hikes, fort building etc!

During school holidays, I'm also a Multi-Sports Coach and Site Manager for Kings Camps! I'm very fortunate to have managed camps in multiple locations across the UK, working alongside a fantastic not-for-profit organisation, encouraging children to grow and hit new goals!
