About Me

We are searching for a warm, energetic and loving nanny, with experience of looking after 2 boys aged 5 and 2.5. The working hours will be Mon - Fri 7am - 7pm (2 weeknight babysittings per week but only used occasionally). Both parents work full time, so the nanny must be confident sole charge. Someone very organised, who will manage the children’s schedules, will be a good fit and the parents are keen the nanny focuses on the boys' education and development, ensuring they grow up to be happy and kind. The ideal candidate will enjoy being a bit silly with the children and laughing with them but, at the same time, they will also genuinely be interested in helping the children learn and develop, both educationally and emotionally.

The role will include typical nursery duties, preparing healthy meals and organising age-appropriate activities. If the nanny is happy to help walk the dog in the mornings when both children are out of the house that would be great.

Both boys are happy and healthy, in a good routine. The eldest is a very playful little boy. He loves cars, tractors and diggers, but especially enjoys role-play/pretend play. He also loves Lego, Magnatiles and anything where he can use his imagination. He really enjoys drama and music and is very inquisitive, asking lots of questions. The youngest is a happy toddler with a big personality. He is a good eater and has a great sleep routine. He enjoys exploring and being active! The eldest is in school full time and the youngest is at nursery five mornings per week (walking distance from the house).

The family home is conveniently located in a beautiful residential area of London, just a 20-minute bus ride or short train ride to central London and within easy access to major parks, including Hyde Park, Regent's Park and Queen's Park.

The accommodation will comprise a private bedroom and bathroom within the family home, but on its own floor away from the family. The family also employ a cleaner during the week and have a pug, so an animal lover is a plus.

Some holiday travel may be required and a driver is a must - a car will be provided for nanny duties or alternatively the nanny may choose to use her own car if she should wish.
