About Me
My name is Sandra Day and have been a registered childminder since August 2001 providing over 20 years high quality childcare in a home-based setting.
I grew up in Bourne End and currently live in Loudwater with my fiance Steve and two kittens Dottie and Lillie.
My portfolio of childcare includes a Level 3 qualification in homebased childcare, Food Safety, First Aid and continuous in-house training.
My Experience
My experience gained in childcare since 2001 expands from children aged 2 months - 14 years.
Children in my care are given the opportunity to get involved in a variety of activities which include, through term times, mainly toddler groups, parks, music groups and through holiday periods going further afield to museums, zoos, river trips, parks, sand and water play etc, all allowing, where possible, provision for relaxation or sleep needs.
I also have experience with looking after children with Autism, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Epilepsy, Diabetes and Emotional Dysregulation.
I am reliable and flexible and offer a variety of fun filled activities (dependent on the age / stage and ability) for your child both at home and out and about
My Qualifications
I am up to date with all compulsory training such as First Aid and Safeguarding and regularly attend other training where needed - below are some training undertaken

Monday - Thursday 7.30 - 6.00
Due to children moving to full time school I now have a full time vacancy for an under 5 available Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

I was very nervous about leaving my son with a stranger so I could work. When we met Sandra she instantly made us feel comfortable. Her home is clean and spacious and everything felt right.
My son settled in very quickly and Sandra kept us updated daily on his care and development.
4 years later and my son is still happy, looked after, had lots of great adventures and made great friends.
Sandra has always been there for help and support along the way and I am glad we chose her to look after our son.
Would highly recommend.
