Hi, I'm Katy. I'm 23 years old and currently studying Psychotherapy and Counselling at Plymouth Marjon University. I am based in Dawlish, however will be living in Plymouth from September onwards (see availability) and this is when I will be wanting to work.
I'm passionate about my work when it comes to caring for others, and I believe my natural skill of empathy is key to working with children. I've been told I'm very warm and genuine, as well as very bubbly and chatty.
I'm vegetarian but have no problem cooking any meal involving meat, I just won't eat it!

My Experience
I am fully trained with a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development. From 2014-2016 I worked as a nursery nurse in a pre-school, toddler room and baby room. I eventually worked my way up to baby room leader. I am first aid trained.
For the past 2 and a half years I have worked as a support worker for adults with learning disabilities, additional needs and mental health issues.
I have also had experience working within many different childcare settings such as a special needs school and primary school.
My Qualifications
Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care Learning and Development.
Level 2 Health and Social Care.
Baby Room training.
First Aid trained.
Please note: I am DBS checked but for my current job (support worker) and my university course (Psychotherapy and Counselling). I am happy to provide a copy of these.
My Availability
As I am studying in Plymouth, I will be living there from 7th September 2019 to 31st July 2020. During this time I would love to look after children to earn some extra money for my studies. I will have University Mondays and every other Tuesday as well as needing time for my studies.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £8.21 per hour
- Nannying from £8.21 per hour (gross)
I am happy to work for the current minimum wage for over 21's which is £8.21 per hour. However, this is negotiable.
