Cancelled our contract
We thought Sophia and her home were great when we first met her, so we agreed for her to care for our son 3 full days a week starting in Sep this year (2019). My husband and I had arranged new full-time jobs catering around this agreement and a 2-week holiday just before the setting in period only to receive a whatsapp message from Sophia that she won’t be taking our son in her care anymore. No explanation, not even a phone call, just a short and vague text.
I’m very disappointed in her behaviour and lack of professionalism and consideration for us as a family. I would not rate her character for this job.

Thank you for your kind words Kat, in regard to how you felt about our initial meeting and the arrangement of the setting I provide care in. I am sure it is with regret that you have displayed a review that is equivocate. Your contract was terminated due to there being a breech. The reason for Registered Childcare providers like myself using such materials as a contract is to provide security for both parties involved. You were very aware of the terms and conditions of this contract made and choose not to adhere to it, therefore the arrangement resulted in termination. I am very professional, reliable and fair, having much experience and knowledge in this sector, hence the idea of this endeavor. If the matter here is in relation to securing a place here at the setting for your child, surely you would have fully completed what was set out in the contract made and paid your reservation fee. Instead, you chose not to and avoided communication for several days, going on weeks. At this point in time, the setting was new and due to open a month later, with lots of interests from parents wanting a service. It was after many attempts of trying to contact you thorough calling, that a text was delivered and followed by a written letter. It was only then that a response was provided from you. For the provider to be able to deliver notice of termination there has to be a breech. If there was no breech, then you would have been entitled to the service arranged and set out in the contract made, for at least 4 weeks, but this was not the case! In fact because of your lack of professionalism and consideration for the provider you loss your placement here at the setting.
