My name is Zoe Matthews. I am an Ofsted registered Childminder (Good with elements of Outstanding). I am 29 and have been married to Russ for 4 years, We have 2 pets in the house, a lovely, if a little cheeky, cat called Cleo who is 5, and a gentle giant called Juno (dog) who is 3 years old, both pets and husband are fantastic with children.
I offer home from home care for your child using a holistic approach. I provide a stimulating and exciting place for children to discover and learn about themselves and the world around them.
I have a separate playroom and access to an outside area specifically for the children I look after. This ensures that the dog has her own space to play and does not steal the children's toys!
I can provide references and show you my certificates. Both myself and my husband are CRB checked.
My Experience
I have finished working as a Year 1 teacher last year, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The past year I have been enjoying my venture as a childminder, gaining a Good rating, with elements of Outstanding from Ofsted. The ages of children I have childminded in the past range from 7months - 10 years old.
I have had experience in nursing and over 12 years experience working with children in a variety of different settings.
I also work for an online babysitting company and have done for the last 5 years.
My Qualifications
Degree in Education with Early Years Specialism and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
CACHE Level 3 - Understanding how to set up a home based childcare service
Pediatric First Aid
Food Hygine
Early Years Foundation Stage Training
My Availability
Monday - Friday 8 - 17.00.
