My names Kait, I am 31 years old and currently live on the edge of the New Forest. I’m a fun, kind, calm and caring person who loves to help children thrive in all aspects of their life.
I drive and have a car and do not mind travelling further afield if you don’t live locally.
Possibly looking for work in and around Woodley/Reading - I will be moving here if I find a suitable family.
My Experience
Over the last 2 years I have worked in The New Forest for a family with 3 children, ages 9, 7 and 4. I care for the children after school and in the school holidays, making sure they're loved, happy and safe. I also help run the household by cleaning, ironing, food shopping and running errands.
Prior to my current role, i was with a family for 17 months with 3 children aged 11, 8 and 4. I cared for the children around school hours and in the holidays. With clubs, extra curricular activities and ParentMail x3, organisation, juggling and flexibility has been at the forefront.
In this role I also did housekeeping and cleaning.
Previously i worked in Winchester, helping a family with their two older children (12&15) around school hours and in the holidays. I was with this family from January 2019 and acted as a PA to the whole family/housekeeper/mothers help, a little bit of everything. As the children were older, they required less direct care, freeing up majority of my time for housekeeping.
Alongside this, i worked adhoc mornings for another family, caring for their 1&3 year olds, I’d take them to groups and classes that they would usually go to with their mummy before she started back at work.
Prior to my current role/s, I cared for a 3&4 year old for around 2 and a half years (youngest was 10 months old when I started) and this is where my heart is really. I loved helping the children learn and grow into mini humans, there’s nothing more rewarding. I would love to find an easy going, happy family to support and help navigate their journey as parents.
My Qualifications

I don’t have any childcare qualifications, but do have the usual GCSE’s and A levels, all to a high standard.
My years of experience and high praise through references have meant I’ve been able to do what I love without going back into college.
