About Me
Hello,
My name is Sevda and I am child-focused nanny with over 5,5 years of experience in providing care to newborns, infants, toddlers and school age children. Helping them to grow, learn and develop. My aim is and will be reassure families about their children are in safe and loving hands and give professional reliable and quality childminding service. The primary focus of my care is the well-being and happiness of the children therefore always putting the children and their needs first.
I am caring, energetic, honest, hardworking, and responsible person who loves taking care of other people especially children. I can easily adapt to every situation and challenge that may come.
I have up to date training in Advanced Safeguarding Level 2 for children and Paediatric First Aid . I am self-employed (sole trader) and OFSTED REGISTERED Nanny.
At the same time, I can assist the family to support the smooth of running of their home and family life as I am very organized and detail-oriented person. I am positive with a can-do attitude and ready to support anytime. I like very clean environment and have no problem doing light house chores. I also love cooking and I am interested in preparing healthy food for children as per family's recipe.
I am Turkish and I speak English fluently. I am open both for live in and live out full time positions. I don’t smoke and I am also comfortable with pets.

April 2024 - Current
Full time live in nanny for 2 boys aged 1 and 4 years old
Duties:
- Providing full time care for the baby and part-time care (before/after school and at the weekends) for the toddler
- Preparing the children for the day (getting them ready in the morning, making breakfast, dressing them, feeding etc)
- All childcare/nursery duties for the baby (follow the baby’s routine, including feeding, changing, and sleeping schedules)
- Keeping an eye out for the children at all times and maintain a safe and clean environment for the children
- Entertaining children with the day to day home activities (playing games, sports, other fun and educational activities)
- Spending time outdoors with the children, such as the playground or park
- Proxy parenting and accompanying the family on international holidays
- Cooking nutritious meals for the children
- Light housekeeping related to the children
December 2021 - October 2023
Full time live in nanny for the ages of children 10, 8, 6 and 22 months old.
I helped to a very busy family with taking care of 4 children that were 8, 6, 4 and 15 days old when I started working . Mixture of sole and shared care with the parents
Duties:
- Preparing children for the day (getting them ready in the morning, making breakfast, dressing them, feeding, changing nappies etc)
- Taking care of babies and toddlers throughout the day assisted with daily care, nurturing, bedtime routine, reading stories to young children.
- Taking /picking up (using public transport or on food) the children to and from school/nursery and after school and extra activities such as swimming lessons, football, and tennis.
- Playing games, sports and doing educational activities with children.
- Participated in outdoor activities and sports including trampoline, badminton, etc.
- Preparing and cooking healthy snacks and meal for the children and babies (bottle and solid food preparation)
- Handled light housekeeping duties such as cleaning / tidying the children’s bedrooms and playroom/areas, doing laundry for children, washing dishes after meal
- Making sure the children are always safe and happy
- Supporting the family for the daily routines.
November 2019- August 2021
Served as a full time live out nanny.
Responsible for looking after two lovely girls, ages 3 and 6 months old when I started and had worked for 2 years.
Duties:
- Being totally focused on the children, organizing, and implementing their daily routines.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children.
- Making sure the children are always safe and happy.
- Assisted with morning routines including dressing, breakfast.
- Preparing nutritious snacks and meals for the children
- Playing with the children and taking them to out-door activities such a play groups, the parks, swimming, playgrounds, museums etc.
- Nursery duties, cleaning up after play and meal preparation.
- Washing and bathing children & getting them ready for bed as well as changing nappies
- Keeping children’s bedrooms and play areas organized and tidy.
Before my professional experience in childcare;
• I used to work as an au pair in England for 1,5 half years while I was studying English as foreign languages. I looked after 3 children aged 6 years girl, 21 months girl and new-born baby boy.
• I helped to my aunt while she was raising her 2 children.
• I also helped out friends who require childcare while they are out or working. They always tell that they are very confident and at peace of mind when they leave their children with me. Their children really love spending time with me.

Sevda has been a full-time nanny for my two girls, ages 2 and 4, for almost 2 years now and I find it hard to even find the the words for what a difference she has made to all of our lives. She is absolutely brilliant with my girls, who adore her and love spending time with her. She plays age-appropriate, educational, fun games with them both at the same time, has seen them through developmental milestones and they are always safe and beautifully cared for - I couldn’t do more for them myself and I trust Sevda implicitly. She also helps me to manage the house and does anything she can to help me. Did I mention she is also a brilliant cook? She always goes above and beyond and I recommend her wholehearted. She is a true gem and anyone she works for is very lucky.
