Marta has been and still is the second blessing in my life since my son was born especially being a single parent and working full time. He has been going there since he was 2 and Marta has become more than a childminder…she has become part of our family. When I first went to meet her I was anxious about leaving my child in someone’s home. After it became a regular thing, my anxiety subsided and the only worry I had was if Marta went on leave what would I do. But she does provide names of other CMs to provide temp cover if necessary and gives you enough notice. She hasn’t taken leave yet so I’ll cross that bridge when I come to it. Yes that’s right, she has not taken any leave yet since I have been going to her and my son is 4.5. She moved house and worked throughout, during the pandemic she worked throughout except for locked. She introduced new working practices as soon as she possibly could when the government guidelines were published. She loves children and it’s a good thing she does because I wouldn’t have the care I have today. I don’t think I am ever going to leave her for the following reasons;

1. She is trustworthy and so caring towards my child
2. She takes him out and ensures he has an educational and fun time
3. She provides good food
4. She teaches kids manners and started the potty training for him too!
5. She takes children during school term, half term and whenever children aren’t at school (I swear children spend more time away from school then at school).
6. Her house is clean and my child comes home clean. I have had him in a nursery where I think my baby was used on a construction site to help build new homes.
7. Her assistants are equally as good probably because she recruits them.
8. She is quite helpful with general kid advice especially when it came to applying for schools which can be an absolute nightmare.
9. There is so many reason why I love bringing my son there but I need to go to Marta now and pick up my little person who will make me a millionaire one day.


I am definitely not leaving her any time soon. I’m just like a bad rash that won’t go away :)
