About Me
Hello, I am a registered childminder currently have over 10 years of childcare experience from working as a nanny, nursery nurse and assistant childminder.
I live at home with my lovely husband and our two beautiful daughters who are 3 and 1 years old. We also have 2 cats and a very friendly gentle 9 year old dog Bella. We live a 5 minute walk from Harris primary Benson academy. I am 1 minute walk from the bus stop, 12 minute drive for train station and 8 minute drive to tramp stop.
Our home is a welcoming and loving setting for children. I offer a 'home from home' environment with nutritious meals and snacks. We attend local playgrounds, duck parks, libraries, forest walks and farm trips. We enjoy different activities indoors and outdoors, we have a beautiful big garden with lots of exploring and learning to do.
I believe children learn best when they feel safe and happy, learning through play and from each other as every child is their own unique person. Working closely with parents to deliver the EYFS curriculum development and meet the needs of all children.
My Experience
I worked as a assistant childminder for 3 years before leaving to become a nanny with more flexibility to suit me and my family. I enjoyed nannying for an amazing family with 2 beautiful young children who are now off to sixth form and university. Finally working at a lovely nursery as a nursery nurse/room leader until I had my own girls.
