My Experience

Nursing for last 8 years with a background in Neonatal Intensive Care and some School Nursing experience though now work primarily with adults. Very comfortable looking after newborn babies and supporting mothers/families with caring for their own babies.

Two children of my own; son of 19 and daughter of 10.

Worked for a year in a nursery with children aged 2-5 years in approx 2011. Completed some short childcare training sessions but no recognised childcare qualifications. Have been doing various nannying on and off for the past 14+ years of various aged children from babies up until teenage years.

Currently happy in my role as a nurse but enjoy this as a secondary role and have some time off that I am happy to help out in further over the winter period.

No long term commitment necessary. Could be to cover holidays or business trips.

My school run is central Guildford & my daughter has happily joined me in the evenings if a longer day is required. Ideally if she were with me and coming back home we would leave by 9pm.

For the moment we are living between Godalming and Aldershot. My adult son is happy minding my daughter if a late evening or overnight stay is required though at the request of one of the families I worked for my daughter would stay in a spare bedroom whilst I cared for/assisted with sleep training overnight due to longer bursts of/continuous night nannying.

Please contact me for specific requirements. I believe if a longer term nanny is required that we meet first to get a feel for each other.

Also happy to look after children with specific health care needs (however if the child has been assessed as needing 24/7 nursing care this would be at an additional cost).

My Availability

Please see below for rough regular non-availability though if adhoc please do ask as may be able to accommodate. Babysitting, Day/Night Nanny either regular or adhoc for respite including overnight stays for business/holiday trips or other stays away and school holiday help. Willing to discuss potential options that suit both parties. Also do regular daily morning school runs to the centre of Guildford from Aldershot, open to helping with the morning school run and potentially after school support or for parents who need a break from the normal routine/are working part time etc

For babysitting I require on the day payment upfront by either cash or bank transfer upon my arrival. For nannying I will send an invoice at the end of each month. In the unlikely event I have to cancel I do not ask for sick/carers pay however I would kindly request two weeks notice on any regular commitments or additional prebooked dates for a cancellation in order for me not to invoice for this time.

• Nannying from £16.50 per hour (gross)
