About Me
My name is Ellie and I live in Haddenham with my husband, 2 children (a 7 year-old, and a 4 year-old), and our cat. I run my own pregnancy & baby business in the village, mostly working from home but with some travel to clients' houses. My husband works half the time at home, and half the time in London. As I run my own business I like to be flexible around the children, but am now pregnant with our 3rd child, due December 2024, and am considering childcare that would suit us as a family, and enable me to keep growing my business.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone kind, caring, energetic and fun to help care primarily for our baby due in December 2024, but with some support for the wider family. We can be flexible on days, but are likely going to be looking for a nanny for 3 mornings a week from September 2025. However, this could potentially begin with 2 mornings a week from Easter 2025.
Times required would be roughly 8.30am-12.30pm, so would suit someone looking for part-time hours, or someone who would like to work "split-shift" between us in the morning and perhaps another family from school pick-up onwards. Duties would include baby-care & activities (including attending local baby groups as they get older), light household duties such as a load of washing or changing the bed sheets, and preparation of a family dinner.
Our older two children are starting Year 3 and Reception in September 2024, and we don't currently require care for school runs. If a nanny was keen to work during school holidays though, this would involve care of all 3 children.
