My Experience

I have worked as a tutor in French and Spanish, as well as geography and political science for my universities official tutoring service during my undergraduate degree. As well as being raised bilingual in Spanish and English, I became fluent in French during my bachelors as it was a requirement for my degree in International Affairs. I have also worked as a teacher of English as a second language in China in 2014 for an undergraduate internship. I have been playing piano since I was 4 years old, and am trained in both theory and application, and have placed in competitions in the MidWest United States for multiple consecutive years for my performance. Along with my MA in International Studies and my BA in International Affairs, I also have a BA in English Literature, specialising in journalism, literary writing, non-fiction/academic writing, and grammatical theory and rhetoric. Lastly, I have taught as a supply teacher in Colorado, USA, before moving back to the UK to complete my PhD, and have experience teaching primary school ages up to University students.

My Qualifications

I have an MA, and 2 BAs from universities in Germany and the United States, I have university recorded proficiency in both Spanish and French, have classical training in theory and performance on the piano and electric keyboard, and have completed placements at schools in China and the US, as well as a background in university level tutoring in the United States

My Availability

I have flexible availability as I am studying from home during the pandemic, and as my tutoring will be conducted virtually for your safety, your children's safety, and my own, I am available when I am needed, and can coordinate around the remote school teaching times where required.

My Fees

• Tutoring from £20.00 per hour

My standard fee is £20/hour, however a sliding scale can be applied if needed. Please inquire if you have urgent need given the current crisis.
