About Me

Help to look after my 3 1/2 year-old boy and a 18 month-old girl.

Looking for between 30-35 hours a week. Ideally 3 full days (8.15 to 5.15) and 2 afternoons (2-5.30) a week. Times to be discussed and flexible depending on candidate.
Candidate needs to be Ofsted registered or willing to register

My son has a speech delay and sensory difficulties (proprioceptive and vestibular) so someone interested in SEN would be ideal but not essential.

General duties involve:
Taking the kids to classes and outdoor play activities
Organising creative activities and educational games at home
Teaching the children about appropriate behaviours (such as waiting, sharing, tidying)
Assisting with speech practice
Collaborate with parents to ensure children’s’ growth and social development
Contribute to the safe, caring, nurturing and stimulating environment
Planning and preparing meals and snacks
Shopping for things required by children
General housekeeping duties related to the children

Requirements
Previous Nanny or day care experience
Excellent understanding and interest in child development
Able to create fun activities to educate and engage children.
Organised and capable of multi-tasking
Positive, firm, patient and calm manner
Clean driving licence


Work hours:
Between 30-35 hours – depending on the candidate availability
Ideally would like someone open to flexible times and prepared to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Ideally looking for someone to start early February.
