I am 23 years old and currently work full time in an East Lothian Council nursery with children aged 3-5 years. I have experience working with children aged 0-5 years. I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner with an svq3 in social services children and young people.
My Experience
I have worked in both nursery and childminding settings. I am familiar with the pre birth to there guidance. My roles in a nursery setting are changing nappies, toilet training, organising rest times, prepare and feed meals, to provide engaging and learning experiences for children both indoors and outdoors, evaluating the environment and looking for areas to improve to ensure the children have the best experience possible whilst ensuring children’s safety.
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified childcare practitioner and I am SSSC checked and have a pvg. I have my first aid, food hygiene, allergy awareness and food safety qualifications. I have an HND in dance, 3 highers including English and 7 national 5s.
My Availability
Mondays: 2.30pm- late
Tuesdays: 7am- noon
Thursdays: 1.30pm- late
