About Me
I am a charity worker (so is my husband) and we have one 3.5 year old daughter and one cat and have been living in (and loving) Brighton for nearly three years. My husband is travelling abroad a lot for work and I'm struggling to manage it all on my own at home.
My Requirements
I’m looking for an experienced part time "mothers" / household helper who in time might also be able to offer occasional babysitting. Ideally 4- 6 hours a week of helping out in the home (e.g. with washing up, laundry, ironing, tidying and sorting toys and clothes, changing bed sheets, lunch box prep, bins and recycling, putting away groceries etc) and eventually perhaps a couple of midweek nursery pick ups (from Fiveways playcentre) and some occasional weekend evening babysitting at our home (6pm - midnight). So far our daughter has only ever been watched by family / the same one childminder and she is very attached to me and feeling rather anxious especially when her dad is away so it would be great to just have you around whilst I'm here for a while before we try babysitting. We also have a rather perky and curious Abyssinian cat so you would need you to be ok with him being around / looking to curl up to you on the sofa of an evening.
