My wife and I are a professional couple who both travel regularly for work. I'm a documentary filmmaker and she works in theatre.
My Requirements
We’re looking for someone who is open to regular but sporadic childcare. Sometimes I have to take short trips away. We’re lucky to have two sets of grandparents nearby who are very helpful, but there is a limit to how much we can ask of them.
My wife works every evening apart from Sunday. The day times are fine, but it’s the periods after 6pm where we need support. As I'm on my own in the evenings, we're looking for someone who can be in the house occasionally whilst I'm out. Ideally this person would build up a relationship so that they could do bedtime for the children alone.
Our children are nearly 2, and 3.
