My Experience

Hi I'm Sean, a Male Nanny and filmmaker from Dublin, Ireland. I worked in education for 4 years, and was a private tutor for 2 years. I am fully DBS checked, reliable, on time, friendly and great with kids.

In my previous role I worked at a busy South London school as a cover supervisor. The nature of the school meant I was along term teacher for a range of subjects from year 8 science to year 11 English. I was known as being approachable, respectful but also firm. I ran an early morning fitness class for all ages that got so popular we had to draft a 2nd member of staff in for support. I was also the mentor for two boys, checking in with them and helping them with pastoral and educational support from year 9 to the end of year 11. I was also career mentor for a year 11 girl.

I left Education September of 2020 to pursue work in film. I love working with children and my time in education was the most rewarding work I've ever done.

I was also briefly a professional chef and know my way around a kitchen. I cook tasty and nutritious meals easily.

I'm a fitness enthusiast and am happy to encourage your children with fitness goals if you wish. I do this in a way that is totally positive, encouraging and child centred.

My Qualifications

I have a BA in English and Philosophy and a Masters Degree in Political Theory. I am fully DBS checked.

My Availability

I'm available for after school and into early evening.

My Fees

• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)

I charge hourly. My fees are open to negotiation for the right family - I understand that childcare can be expensive and I don't think a child should be deprived of an awesome nanny because of money.
