My Requirements

Hello,

We are looking for a nanny to join our family.

We are hoping for someone who is full-time and ideally live-out. Live-in may also be an option, if needed.

We are hoping for them to work, 0700-1900, 4 days a week (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Friday) and also some weekends. Of course, we would are open to discussion regarding alternative working hours.

We ideally would like them to be bilingual, eg Filipino, Nepalese, Eastern European Migrants (e.g., Polish, Romanian), Indian. However, this is not essential.

About us:

We are both (my wife and I) hospital doctors so have long, anti-social hours.

We have two loving children, 1 and 3 years old and hopefully another one on the way early next year. We might be planning on getting a dog as a pet in the future.

We are based in the RG6 7 postcode area.

For the live-in aspect, we would not want any visitors to the house, especially overnight. We have a separate bedroom (double bed) with plenty of storage space, a separate toilet/sink. The bath/shower is shared upstairs with the rest of the family.

Duties:

The role includes all aspects of the children’s care, including activities / nursery / school drop-off & pick-up, being in charge of the children’s schedule, planning stimulating and educational activities to support their learning and development, organising play dates, preparing healthy meals and snacks, laundry and ironing for the children, changing their bed sheets, and keeping their room and play areas tidy.

Dates - looking to start as soon as possible, initially as a short-term basis with a view to being permanent.

Just planning ahead, we will be shortlisting for interview soon. Which will be over zoom / video phone call. Is there any time / day that you generally cannot do (for interview)?
