About Me
Hi I'm Shay, a qualified Early Years Educator. I have lived in Salisbury all my life and as the oldest grandchild I grew up with lots of younger cousins and extended family members. I have always been drawn to caring for children and after having a change in career I knew that was what I wanted to do as my job! Through my years of experience I have learned to adapt to individual needs, helped to make wonderful memories and formed long-lasting relationships with parents and children.
My Experience
I am currently an Early Years Practitioner in a local nursery. I have experience working in different settings e.g. outdoor nurseries, primary schools, holiday clubs. I have worked with a variety of ages from birth to 16 and can adapt easily to a child's needs. I also have experience working with SEN children and those with additional needs.
My Qualifications
I am Level 3 qualified in Early Years Education.
I have a certificate in Paediatric First Aid.
I have 5+ years of experience in Early Years as well as working with older children from time to time.
My Availability
Term time:
I work weekdays so can be available after 4:30/5 PM Monday-Friday (depending on location times can be discussed)
Saturday - All Day/Evening/Overnight
Sunday - All Day/Evening (Until 10 PM depending on location)
During half term and school holidays my availability is much more flexible, particularly during the week.
