Where to begin? I cannot recommend Amanda highly enough. As others have said, she is not only an exceptional childminder but is so much more than that: the level of bespoke care she provides as well as her proactive approach to development makes her more like a one to one nanny and pre-school teacher all rolled into one. My daughter has just gone to nursery (age 3) having been with Amanda since she was 11 months old and she is confident, bright, social and emotionally switched on and this is in no small part because of Amanda’s input into her life over the last two years. Her language came very early and Amanda encouraged that and developed it through songs and rhyme. She promotes independence and learning all within an environment of kindness and awareness of others. In short, she’s the best money I’ve spent since having my daughter! On a personal note, I’m a solo parent and the support that Amanda has offered me has also been invaluable; I couldn’t have done the last couple of years without her.
