About Me
I am a mum to two amazing little girls. One is 7 nearly 8 and the other is 4 almost 5. The eldest is a beautiful sensitive soul and very emotional - the youngest is like the best kind of wild fire. We take a very gentle approach to our parenting which works very well for us and we would not wish to change this. The girls are both very shy with new people understandably and the littlest is very very vocal about that. She struggles to go to anyone who she doesn't spend a lot of time with. The girls father and myself work quite demanding jobs which means that occasionally we need to be at meetings/work trips through the week. We have no childcare assistance during the week. On the rare times we want to spend a night away we only have childcare help for one night on the weekends when we would like to have the option to go away for a few nights. We are looking for someone to pick up the girls from there school twice a week on a Tuesday and Wednesday and make them dinner, play with them, be company if they want to relax etc until we get home at about 6pm.
My Requirements
We are looking for someone to help us out on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, and as hoc weekends. It all depends on the months schedule. We would wish for them to share our values. Gentle but authoritative parenting with clear boundaries (at least that is what we try to do!). I think we would need to introduce the girls for a slow build up of trust from them. We are looking for someone who is kind and caring whilst also being fun who has a love for children and embracing all that they are. Experience with masked SEN preferable.
