I found Gentle Hands in a time of desperate need, when other childminders weren't able to accommodate my working shift patterns as I work in the NHS. Gentle Hands relieved me from a massive pressure of having to find a childminder who could take my children in as early as 7am. I had a good feeling about them when I went to view, and my gut feeling was correct. Both Tashande and Sachia have been amazing with my children in terms of helping them to develop in confidence. They always plan for and prepare exciting, stimulating and age appropriate learning activities and offer many opportunities for the children to master important skills. My children have always been happy there, and I can see from their behaviour for the rest of the week at home that they are content at Gentle Hands. They always look forward to go there every week , and the childminders are so dedicated, committed and motivated to look after the children. Sachia, in particular has always been incredibly smiley with my children, and has helped my son to settle right from the start, even when he has been at the peek of separation anxiety and tearfulness. They both manage to settle him well. Sachia has always made a huge amount of effort with my children. I am so grateful to both of the childminders, they have brought out the best in my children. I couldn't have done a better job myself. I am extremely thankful to both of them. They even would give homework regularly which I think is a fabulous idea for the kids. Wonderful and hard-working individuals they are.
