About Me
I am currently working full time as a nanny for three children in Gerrards Cross. I am Ofsted registered and have a Level 3 qualification in child development.
I previously worked in a nursery as an assistant room manager of pre-school.
I am organised, considerate, reliable, patient, imaginative, and have an understanding for child development in all areas. I can help children develop life skills through everyday activities. I have a love for cooking, activity planning and self care. I prepare nutritious meals for my NK and love join in with activities!
Another fact about me… During lockdown I started my own business, making, selling, and delivering Sushi, along with lots of content creating! Sawyer Sushi was launched at the beginning of 2021 and was such a good opportunity throughout those last months of lockdown.

Assistant Room Manger, Pre-School
Personal and Leadership responsibilities; Overall to assist and manage the room, ensure staff in the room are up to date with key policies and procedures, commit to on-going personal learning and development and attend off-the job training as appropriate, work in partnership with early years professionals, attend staff meetings.
Childcare and Curriculum Responsibilities; To deliver the EYFS framework, observe each child’s progress, ensuring my key children’s eyLog is up to date, plan and deliver high quality activities and experiences for children, settling in new children to the room, ensure employees attend to the all-round daily needs of the children by enhancing their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development, assist children with personal care, action and monitor all child protection issues and accidents.
Parent and Carer Responsibilities; Work in partnership with parents/carers, assist and attend parent meetings, provide feedback and daily reports about their child’s day at nursery, inform parents when their child is sick or not themselves, aware of any changes happening at home, being vigilant and diplomatic if I feel there is a safeguarding or protection issue, keeping the office informed of child absences or holidays.
Room and Premises Responsibilities; Ensure risk assessments for my room and garden are carried out, ensure room is kept tidy and organised, ensure that recourses for the room are ordered in a timely fashion, ensure signs and displays are fixed to the wall and tidy, ensure that mess is cleaned up, displays changed regularly and in line with events, seasons and themes, answer the phone entry system as appropriate.
Health and Safety Responsibilities; Maintain the safety and security of all children, employees and visitors to the nursery, abide by the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, help carry our regular assessments, ensure cleanliness of the children, ensure accident and incident folders are maintained correctly, ensure child registers are kept correctly.
I have experience with OFSTED and our setting was rated ‘Good’ in December 2022
