My Requirements

Hi! I am currently looking for a nanny to work Mon-Fri (hours vary, please check the specific timings). There may be times when you can leave earlier (paid). This role is temporary as the role is until September 2025 due to Matas starting nursery then.

Matas will turn 2 years old on 26th March. He is a shy boy who needs a little bit of time to get to know you and get comfortable around you. Best way to do that is to be silly and play with him. He loves to read books, play with his kitchen, pretend to bake with flour and pans, go to a local park, and do educational activities like finding an item that is the colour red. Matas loves food, including all veggies. He eats almost everything.

As part of your role, you would be engaging in activities such as building blocks, reading books, colouring, teaching how to say words, and any other activities you could think from your experience for a 2 year old. Matas often likes to free play so watching him is the key thing. I am ideally looking for someone who can cook a meal appropriate for a toddler (Breakfast is at 9am, Lunch is at 11:30am, and Dinner is at 4pm). In warmer & lighter days, going to a local park is essential as Matas is an explorer and loves to play there.

I would love for Matas' nanny to be reliable, honest, experienced with toddlers, organised, friendly, and keen to work with Matas. He sometimes shows tantrums when he is frustrated and doesn't get what he wants: this is very likely to be common in the early days of your role. Therefore, I need someone who is patient enough to diffuse or distract Matas away from his tantrums and to something way more exciting.
