About Me
Hello, my name is Linda and I am a registered childminder working in partnership with my sister in law in my home offering care all year round. I am married with 3 children (2 boys ages 6 and 9 and 1 girl age 3).
My home has a dedicated playroom with a big selection of toys and resources. There is a large garden with cars, scooters, slides, a play house, sand and water trays. We strive to create an environment where children feel happy and safe whilst offering high quality childcare. Children are encouraged to explore through play and targeted activities, aligned with EYFS. We provide regular tracking and reporting whilst working with you to support childrens development. Parents receive regular updates about their child’s development including, daily/weekly updates with photos to give you insight into your child’s experiences.
My Experience
For many years I have had the opportunity to learn a great deal from the women in my family who are teachers.
Growing up I always enjoyed being involved in my Mums nursery. I observed and participated a lot which gave me a deep understanding of how to teach children in a fun, loving environment. I gained a wealth of experience and have loved working with children ever since. I strongly believe that learning and development of young children is vital in forming the foundations needed to flourish at school. A lot of thought and planning goes into our weekly themes and activities to meet the goals set for each child.
We understand that each child is unique and are dedicated in supporting their individual needs, building their confidence and ensure they are well prepared for starting school. We aim to provide quality care in a Montessori environment which will give your child the freedom to learn in controlled surroundings with materials which enable them to correct themselves.
The aim being to nurture free thinking, independent and creative young people who have inquisitiveness and confidence through life.

Level 2 Safeguarding Course
Childminding Certification includes Safeguarding Children, Working with EYFS, Recording Child's Development and Developing Children's Learning
My Availability
We are fully booked.
Operational from Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 6pm. We offer Term-time and 51 week contracts.
Hours are negotiable and can be tailored to suit your needs.
We accept government funding for 15 and 30 hours including two year old funding and childcare vouchers.
At the setting we provide a variety of meals and snacks throughout the day to maintain a balanced diet. I am happy to share a menu upon request.
