Hey I’m lauryn, I’m 25 years old and currently work as an emergency care nanny.
I’m passionate about working with children and the rewards that come with it.
I like to create a fun and safe environment for the children I look after whilst building and maintaining a relationship with both the parents and children in my care. I’m happy to work in the presence of families but also confident in sole care work.
My Experience
I have had many years of childcare experience, for example:
- work experience in nurseries
- Studied Early years education at university
- Started working as nursery practitioner full time
- Became room leader in the toddler room
- Babysitting for families who attended the nursery
- Nannying children from the ages of 3 months up to 10 years old.
During all this experience I’ve gained knowledge on:
- EYFS
- working as a team
- Management skills
I’ve also had experience working with:
- multiple children at once
