About Me
I am currently doing my Masters in Renaissance and Early Modern Studies at York. I have had experience teaching English and Maths at KS3 and GCSE level, and as the oldest of four of siblings, I've had a lot of experience looking after children!
My Experience
I have tutored English and Maths at KS3 and GCSE level to two children. In English, we analysed texts and practised public speaking and creative writing. I encouraged them to read each week, and we also looked at works in class, including A Christmas Carol, An Inspector Calls, Lord of the Flies and the Giver.
I am flexible and open to feedback. If you choose me as your tutor, this will ultimately be about you and your journey. We will work on the areas you are less confident in, and if something doesn't work out, I can adjust the lesson and teach in a way that will benefit you.
