About Me
I am in my third year of Primary Education at York St John University. I am available until the 18th of December but will be going home for Christmas.
My Experience
Alongside my current studies I have completed 9 weeks of placement in a reception class in my first year at University. Prior to this , I took a gap year where I assisted in a reception and year one class for 11 months. As well as this I have worked in an out of school club , collecting a number of children aged 4-12 from school and looking after them until they were collected. In my Gap year I also had the opportunity to work in a summer camp in Canada as a counsellor for children aged 6-16. My previous job was a coach at a sports camp in York, looking after children aged 5-12 in the holidays. I have completed my second university placement which was 9 weeks, and I am about to start my final placement in the New Year for 13 weeks.
My Qualifications
I am currently working on attaining my Qualified Teaching status through York St John Primary Education BA Hons course. I have received 3 A Level qualifications in Sociology (B), Fine Art (B) and Health and social care ( A BTEC Qual) and Higher Sport Leaders Qualification.
