Hello, my name is Steph and I’m a 24 year old primary school teacher from Melbourne Australia. I have been working as a teacher for the last 3 years and I have taught all ages within primary school. My preferred subject areas are mathematics however I am qualified to teach all subjects in a primary school setting. My personal teaching philosophy has always been a child first approach and creating a safe and engaging environment so all students can flourish.
My Experience
I have worked in a variety of primary schools both public and private and have had experiences with all year levels, from foundation to year 6. I have been teaching for the last 3 years in Melbourne and I have worked as a private tutor throughout as well. I have undergone additional training that specialises in early primary Mathematics. Additionally I have worked with many students with ASD/ ADHD and dyslexia so I have a wealth of resources and strategies to help further all students academic development.
My Qualifications
I have a bachelors degree in Primary Education through the Australian Catholic University.
My Availability
I am currently working as a primary school teacher Monday - Wednesday so I will be available after 6 on those days and I work casually on Thursday and Friday so my availability’s on those days will be depending if I work or not.
