About Me
Currently I work as a dental receptionist, this job involves me to have a duty of care for all ages from babies to elderly, also anyone with hidden disabilities or medical conditions. I also have a duty of care for patients private and confidential medical records and their personal details such as home address and contacts. I also qualified as the first aider of the practice last year. In case of an emergency situation It is down to me to handle the situation. However, as much as I enjoy and love the care I provide and the amazing feeling of helping others, I feel I would like to step up to being able to care for children and help out families in need as I know how difficult it is to spend time with family whilst working full-time.
My Experience
The experience I have is from infants to toddlers and teenagers.
I’ve had experienced with infants since my little sister was born, I was responsible for bottle making, napping and playtime.
I’ve also had experience with looking after my 2 sister in-laws baby’s, my responsibility was adhering them to nap time schedules. Making sure they eat the right foods that they eat.
With my sister in laws eldest kids I actively helped with school pick-ups, scheduled homework, working on alphabet writing, maths work making it as fun as possible for them.
So in my experience with children i have engaged them in educational activities and practical tasks such as hide and seek games, catch, board games etc.
My Qualifications
I have all qualified in all my GCSE’s.
I have a double business and finance certificate from my A-levels.
I am a first aider at my current role.
I am also a qualified lash technician.
I am also all clear on my DBS check.
My Availability
At the moment my availability is limited to evenings only after 5 from Monday to Thursday, however Fridays and weekends I’m available anytime.
