Gosia is a fantastic caring childminder for our son. He first started with her aged 13 months and he is now turning 4. Gosia has made us feel like part of the family. She organises fun and educational activities every day (trips to playgroups, local parks, local zoo, the library, swimming etc.), and cooks fresh food adapted for each child’s tastes. She is warm and loving, and is obviously highly experienced at looking after all ages of babies and children. She encourages the children to be kind and polite. They clearly have a lot of fun with her and seem very happy - it is clear that all her kids, including our son, adore her. She is organised, and takes pride in the children being clean and well-presented. She has dealt with any illnesses in a common sense and safe way, often managing things herself rather than insist that our son is picked up. Our son has had some speech delays, and she has really helped him to develop his social skills and build his confidence. She has supported us through weaning and potty training, as well as developing skills like like brushing his teeth, getting dressed, knife and fork skills, among others: As first-time parents, her wisdom and parenting advice has been invaluable. We both work, sometimes long days, and Gosia has been flexible in covering last-minute changes to his hours. She also offers a babysitting service, which has been helpful. I can’t recommend her highly enough, and feel very upset that our son will soon be leaving.
