I am a first-year undergraduate student at University College London, studying Psychology and Language Sciences BSc (Hons).
My long-term goal is to become a teacher and I am very passionate about working with children.
My hobbies include sports, especially hockey and skiing, baking, and reading.
My Experience
Teaching Assistant in a Primary School:
Last year I worked as a Teaching Assistant at a primary school and I have gained invaluable experience in supporting children. This role has equipped me with a deep understanding of the diverse needs of children and effective strategies for engaging them in educational and fun activities. I worked both in KS2 and KS1 including Reception, so I have experience with a wide range of age groups. Additionally, this means that I have a DBS check and fire safety, and food safety qualifications. I am currently volunteering at the same school alongside my studies. My main responsibilities with KS1 involved running phonics and reading sessions so I have skills to help children in their steps to learn to read.
Volunteering:
I have also volunteered with children at camps and groups for many years which means I have picked up some key skills such as patience, responsibility, creativity and fun!
My Qualifications
I have 12 GCSEs at A* level.
I also have A-Level qualifications in Psychology, Maths and German.
I am currently studying for an undergraduate degree in Psychology and Language Sciences BSc (Hons).
In addition, I have certifications in fire safety and food safety.
I also have an advanced DBS check.
My Availability
I am flexible and open to discussion in terms of availability, however I am not available on a Wednesday.
