About Me
I am a level 5 (Foundation Degree in Early Years), paediatric first aid trained, pre registered childminder with over twenty two years experience in working with children. I have my own two children who are aged 14 and 17 years. I offer a safe, spacious, newly renovated, stimulating home from home setting, with a large garden. I am local to a large playing field, parks, a library, two primary schools and a secondary school.
My service includes breakfast, lunch (a hot meal) and a light tea.
I accept government funding.
My Experience
I have previously worked in private day nurseries as a nursery nurse and a room leader and have worked as a manager of a pre school and an after school club.
I've also worked in a primary school, with children aged from 3 years to 11 years as an LSA, one to one support, SEN provision lead and a cover supervisor.
My Qualifications
Foundation Degree in Early Years (Level 5 NVQ)
Safeguarding training
Full paediatric first aid training
My Availability
I am open Monday to Thursday, from 7.30am until 5.30pm. (Closed for twenty days in the year - will notify parents at least four weeks in advance, plus bank holidays and the period between Christmas and new year)
