short but very sweet time with Sophie

We had Sophie look after our 2 year old son a few times and she was great with him, he was comfortable with Sophie straight away and enjoyed his park visits enormously.

Unfortunately our situation changed and we no longer required Sophie's services immediately but if/when we ever did again, she would be the first person i'd call.

best childcare

Sadly Sophie will be leaving our family as a nanny come September, when our youngest goes to school. She will be greatly missed by all of us, it's been wonderful having her around.

We never thought we would have a nanny as we are just an ordinary family, but when we looked into all childcare options this just seemed to make sense. And we haven't looked back since. Having Sophie look after the children has taken all the hassle out of childcare. No difficult morning drop offs, childcare when the children are ill, wrap around care for the older child who attends school,...
But most of all, our children have bonded so well with her, it's as if they have gained another family. Sophie is kind, reliable, helpful, we really couldn't fault the work she did for our family.

We would be more than happy to talk through some of the logistics that come with employing a nanny, as it may seem a bit daunting at first but we found it very easy in the end.

Highly recommended nanny

Sophie was our nanny for 4.5 years and what can I say... She was an absolutely vital part of our family life. Sophie started with us when our girls were about 18 months old and very quickly became their favourite person to spend time with. She had unending patience and energy though was firm in areas of discipline that were important to us. She genuinely wanted what was best for our family situation so was flexible and committed to providing us with the best childcare. When the girls went to school full time Sophie worked with us to find a nanny share that would work for everyone. We were the family that moved to devon in 2013... If we could have taken Sophie with us we would have and my daughters still miss her daily. If you are looking for a Mary poppins sort of nanny then talk to Sophie. I would have her back in a second!
