About Me
I’m a mum and an experienced “Outstanding childminder “. I’m a small home from home setting . Where the children thrive, feel loved and are cared for like my own. I work from my own home which has plenty of space inside and out . We have a large outside space that the children use daily. The garden is in excess of a 100ft and has an outdoor playroom. We have a large bespoke mud kitchen with running water and a child friendly herb garden. Play house, fairy garden , bouncy castle , water tables and lots of ride on toys .
We also have several pet chickens that the children learn to care for and become fond of. The children help care for these and they delight in taking the daily collection of eggs home.
My Experience
I’m a mum to 3 grown up children. Prior to becoming a childminder I worked in the banking industry.
My setting is based in my home in Hornchurch Essex . Although our day may start at the house we go out daily to experience the world around us . We attend playgroups, parks, forests, aquarium, farm and the zoo just to name a few .
My Qualifications
Degree Bsc ( Hons) Economics and Law
3 A’Levels
10 GCSEs
Apart from these academic qualifications . I have undertaken many courses in order to not only become a childcare provider, but in order to remain and be a compliant outstanding childminder .

Emma has been taking care of our son since he was just 10 weeks old. With our son being the youngest of 4, my husband and I have vast experience using childcare providers in the Havering area.
Emma creates a warm, loving, professional and educational setting where our son has thrived for the last 9 months.
Emma ensures that he meets and exceeds all of his milestones with a diverse range of activities, which are communicated to us regularly throughout the day.
Our son is happy, content and always excited to spend his days at Emma’s house.
Without doubt, Emma’s care is the best we have experienced and nothing short of outstanding!

Both of our children have attended ‘Emma’s house’ and have thrived there. Emma operates a home from home and goes the extra mile in making sure the children in her care are made to feel at safe, happy and loved. She is an excellent communicator and sends regular updates on the children’s days as she takes them to new and exciting places to learn and grow. The setting is fantastic, our children have both equally loved exploring the outdoor space she provides, becoming bug hunters, mud kitchen chefs and experts in caring for the chickens and their eggs. In addition to her home, Emma makes use of the multiple preschool groups in the local area allowing the children to develop social skills and get to meet other similar aged children, we have found that this really helped when our daughter started school as she had experience of being amongst larger groups of other children. Emma is an incredible childminder and we are immensely privileged to have her minding our children in our absence. She delivers the same quality of care that we would aim for ourselves. There is no better child care provider in our opinion.

My daughter loves going to ‘Emma’s House’ she has been attending just under a year and started when she was 11 months old! Emma absolutely loves my daughter and treats her like one of her own, they’re constantly doing something like going to play group, seeing the animals at the petting farm or going for adventure walks in the forest. At Emma’s house she has a large playroom room and huge garden with loads of things to do and my daughter has took a shine to her chickens. Emma sends pictures throughout the day and it’s the highlight of my day seeing a smile on my daughter’s face when I’m at work. I have had other mums come up to me when I have been at a play group saying they have seen my daughter with the childminder and they couldn’t recommend her enough saying how amazing she was with my daughter! I highly recommend Emma she goes above and beyond!

My DD absolutely loves going to Emmas. She has been attending for over 2 years now and i have never had any concerns or issues. She really is an amazing women who really cares for each and every one of her children that she cares for! She goes above and beyond by taking the kids out to different settings like a playgroup on a Friday which my girl absolutely loves! To softplays or just to different parks! Even when the weathers bad and they stay indoors, emma has the most amazing selection of toys for the kids, fun and educational. I would not send my DD to anyone else and also my new baby i have on the way is ready and waiting to attend!

Emma has been looking after my 2 girls for the past 5 years, before they were at school and she now does school runs for me. She has been absolutely fantastic. As a childcare professional myself, I have high standards when it comes to the care of my children and Emma has always gone above and beyond and has always been reliable and professional in every way. Her house is spotlessly clean and she has a wide range of toys for the kids to play with. Even chickens in the garden!
Nothing has ever been too much for her and my girls absolutely adore her and her family. I Love that she treats them as her own and that we have become part of her family.
