About Me
We are a family of 4. I work from home with my hubby in Christchurch. 2 children (boy 13 and girl 10) and a big Romanian rescue dog.
My Requirements
Looking for some after school care from September for daughter who is autistic. This is to support in tidying her room, making healthier food choices and generally supervising activities (she loves to craft)
Would also love some support in the school holidays for full or part days as although at home, I am working and cannot keep an eye on her to enable access to new experiences and interests (eg. She looked up a recipe for fresh pasta last week and destroyed the kitchen in the process!)
She is super intelligent but doesn’t always see the consequences due to her autism. I am therefore looking for someone who understands autism and understands things like she isn’t going to tidy her room herself, but there are ways to engage to do it together.
We are specifically looking for 3-6pm Tuesday and Thursday or Tuesday and Wednesday.
If we receive additional funding we applied for then Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday would be available.
