My husband and I have just had our first child, a daughter, who with live with along with our two dogs.
My Requirements
Our newborn (7 weeks) has bad reflux and is struggling to sleep flat on her back in a crib. This has left us having to hold her to sleep, which doesn’t feel safe and has left us both severely overtired. She’s exclusively breastfed and it’s unclear if the reflux is because of overactive letdown or allergies - both are being investigated. She previously could sleep on her back during the day and night, but for the last couple of weeks this has become increasingly difficult.
We’re looking for some ad hoc help with nights, as the sleep deprivation has begun to really take its toll. Ideally someone who can look after her between feeds for a chunk of the night.
Someone who is able to help from 9pm-4/5amish (very flexible with timings) would be extremely helpful a night or two a week, just to help us catch up on sleep.
Anyone with experience dealing with reflux would also be really helpful, as well as newborn sleep in general.
