My Summary

My Experience

I have volunteered in a nursery for an academic year, this nursery has given me the ability to take charge and lead and be a role model for others I would do this by leading circle time, leading activities and supervising the children. My duties were making sure everyone's needs were catered for in terms of food and allergies and dietary requirements and in terms to personal needs as I have worked with SEND children too I would help them by giving them one to one sessions with sensory toys for them to explore. I would take the responsibility of taking registration and doing constant head counts to ensure every child is accounted for. Additionally, I would help the staff members with cleaning the nursery and making sure that everything is kept in its place. From this I have learnt how to be organised and to be responsible for other people’s safety and wellbeing over my own but also to have patience with children when i assisted them with their learning for example teaching them how to write numbers and letters and helping them with their pencil control in order to do that. I have learnt how to listen and understand children and also give them comfort when needed.

My Qualifications

I have a level 3 childcare and education qualification and also food hygiene awareness.

My Availability

I’m flexible so some availability can be changed

My Fees

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

If there is more than 1 child fees will be discussed with parents.
