I am a qualified Nutritionist with an undergraduate degree in psychology specialising in Child Development Psychology.
I have always felt an affinity with children, I have many youngsters in my family and have grown up being babysitter to them. I am an enthusiastic, warm, caring and easygoing individual who gets along well with adults and children equally.
I love getting out and about, exploring new places and experiences.
My Experience
I have grown up babysitting for the young families in my village.
During my university degree I took a placement year to work in Plymouth's babylab, focusing on research surrounding child development. This inspired me to continue my dissertation research in this domain too. I worked with families of young ones from 6 months to 5 years, building up a relationship and guiding them through the non invasive research.
I find children fascinating and inspiring, their enthusiasm, their wonder at anything new and their lack of concern at someone else's opinions!
I worked my summer months for a few years Nannying for a young family in Bath and their little girl. I knew her from the ages of 1 (nappies, Bath times, dinner time) to 4 (playing, exploring, dinner times, bed times, reading, dancing) and loved building up a relationship with the child and her lovely family.
My Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in psychology
Masters Degree in Human Nutrition
First Aid Qualified
Full Drivers License (and own car)
Personal Trainer L2 and L3
My Availability
I am available Mon to Fri, taking weekends off to spend time with my family and friends. I am no stranger to early starts and happy to start as early as 6am if needed. I do try to set aside some time in the evenings 6.30pm ish for myself to go training (I'm a keen boxer!) And walk the family dog!
