About Me
I am a child psychology student at home in Droitwich for the summer. I always like to stay busy and get experience working with children where I can. I have worked with children my whole life and find it extremely fun and rewarding. I am always available to help children where I can.
My Experience
I have worked in Blue Giraffe Nursery for two summers in a row, working with children between the ages of 2 months to five years. I predominantly worked in the baby rooms, changing, feeding and making bottles for the babies.
I have just finished a placement year where I worked at an Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Disabilities Charity called Caudwell children. Here I shadowed Psychologists during ASD assessments and also worked in the short breaks department looking after children with ASD or other mental/ physical disabilities. Through this job I got safeguarding training and experience working with children between the ages of 4 to 17years.
I also completed a low level pre GCE teaching course where I was a teaching assistant to a year 8 English class
My Qualifications
A levels - A in sociology, B in psychology, B in English
currently studying Child psychology
Pre GCE certificate
Blue stream safeguarding certificate
My Availability
I am available all of summer up until September. I am flexible with my hours as long as i have some time off for holidays or day trips with family.
