Hi! I'm an American expat living in Frome. I'm looking for a job working with kids because I love the creativity and genuine curiosity kids bring to their experience of the world. A little more about me- I'm a compassionate and responsible individual, I pride myself on being dependable and on-time, and doing a job to the best of my abilities. My Experience
I worked for 6 months in 2020 as a Nanny and Tutor for an 8-year old boy who was doing distance education at a bilingual French school during the pandemic. In addition to this experience, I have worked with kids quite a bit in other contexts. I taught for a year as a Garden and Nutrition Educator in elementary schools in Oregon. I also worked as an English Language Assistant in elementary schools on a French-speaking island in the Caribbean. During college I coached a few youth soccer and lacrosse teams, worked as a summer day camp counselor and had various babysitting gigs. I think my main strengths are a positive energy and creative mindset. I know how to lesson plan and have experience creating engaging, hands-on activities for grades K-5.
My Qualifications
CPR/first aid trained. I don't have any formal childcare qualification, just lots of past work experience.
My Availability
Flexible availability, I only need to be on campus one day a week, either Thursdays or Fridays. Prefer work during the weekday, but open to weekends/evenings
